This turn-based operational wargame covers the 1942–43 Stalingrad Campaign on the Eastern Front of World War II. The campaign can be played from either the Axis or Soviet perspective, following the German advance and the Soviet effort to repel the invaders.
On a hex-based map, the player commands armies and fronts, maneuvers, encircles enemy forces, captures cities, and advances across large distances. Operations depend on logistics and weather, so supply lines remain essential as the battles shift back and forth.
