An open-world, top-down science-fiction action RPG about a spaceship pilot exploring the far reaches of space. The player mines asteroids, trades, completes story missions for different factions, develops the character through skill trees, and fights hostile aliens, mercenaries, and pirates. Modules and devices can be used to upgrade the ship, while trading accounts for routes and supply and demand.
Each faction has its own goals, territories, characters, and storylines. Sandbox mode allows exploration of procedurally generated galaxies and the creation of persistent multiplayer worlds with custom rules and mechanics. The game’s content and logic can also be modified using its tools and scripting API.
