This zoo-management simulator tasks players with building enclosures, caring for animals and expanding the grounds while balancing animal welfare, visitor needs and income. Staff can be hired to look after the animals and serve guests, while cafes, souvenir shops and more than 200 buildings, items and facilities help shape the zoo.
The game offers a sandbox mode with custom rules and a branching career campaign comprising 30 scenarios. Research unlocks new technologies and animals; the collection includes more than 40 species and subspecies, among them rare and endangered animals. Animals can be trained to perform in shows, and advertising can increase their popularity. The campaign lets players focus on either financial management or wildlife conservation.
