Stalker 2 Guide: Kill Nimble or Spare

During the storyline quest In Search of a Guide in the game S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl, you will encounter a stalker nicknamed Nimble. This character can become a valuable source of information, which will be crucial if you choose the right approach. In this guide, we will detail the quest itself and help you make a choice between two possible outcomes for the stalker. Player actions at this moment will affect the further development of events, so it is worth approaching the decision carefully.

When you are tasked to pass through the snork cave, pay attention to the marker on the map and move towards it to find the entrance on the left side of the cliff. Depending on the route you choose, you may encounter enemies along the way who will continuously respawn. In such cases, the best option is to simply ignore them and hurry towards the goal, without being distracted by battles, to reach the cave as quickly as possible.

As you approach this place, you will hear gunfire and mutant screams. Follow this noise, and soon a cutscene will start where the main character meets this character.

After a fairly long cutscene, you will face an important choice. Nimble is a secondary character who plays an important role in obtaining information necessary for further story progression. He can provide you with valuable information about Faust and reveal details about the «Clear Sky» faction. Additionally, Nimble has a map of the «Swamps» location, which will help the player navigate this challenging area.

If you decide to kill Nimble, he will of course try to fight back, but he will not succeed. After his death, searching the corpse, you will find a PDA with information about the faction and obtain the swamp map.

If you decide to spare Nimble, he will gladly share information about working for Faust and the faction. Additionally, he will give you the Swamp map and 2699 coupons.
