Turowa
Typy gier, w których wszystkie działania, lub działania podczas walki, odbywają się na zasadzie tury, nazywane są turowymi. W strategiach turowych zazwyczaj cały proces gry dzieli się na tury, a w grach fabularnych – tylko na elementy walki. Tura może być nieograniczona czasowo lub ustalona w sztywne ramy czasowe. W obu przypadkach gracze mają czas, aby spokojnie porównać wszystkie możliwe opcje i wykonać najlepszy ruch. Od prawidłowych działań w grach turowych wynik zależy nawet bardziej niż od parametrów armii lub postaci.
